My Story

       As the founder of SapphireEd Consulting, I bring a wealth of expertise and passion for education, particularly in the fields of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) and Physical Education (PE). With years of experience working in international schools, I have developed a deep understanding of how to design and implement curricula that inspire creativity, foster skill development, and meet the unique needs of diverse learners.

       I have had the privilege of working in renowned educational systems, including IBPYP, IBMYP, Cambridge, and American curriculum schools. This diverse experience has equipped me with the ability to adapt and align educational programs with various frameworks, ensuring they are rigorous, engaging, and tailored to the specific goals of each institution. As both a Music and Visual Art teacher, I have always been passionate about the transformative power of VAPA to enhance students' creative expression and critical thinking skills. I also served as the Head of the Visual and Performing Arts Department, where I led a team of dedicated educators in crafting innovative and impactful VAPA programs. My role involved not only developing comprehensive curricula but also mentoring teachers to bring their lessons to life in ways that captivate and motivate students. This experience helped me to understand the structure of other subjects (specialists) and help their departments in tailoring their curriculums. From designing interdisciplinary projects to integrating technology into the arts, PE, and other subjects (specialists), I strive to push the boundaries of traditional teaching methods to deliver meaningful learning experiences.

       One of my core strengths lies in curriculum development, particularly in helping schools and educators create and refine their Visual and Performing Arts, PE, and other specialist programs. I specialize in guiding teachers to design lessons and assessments that are standards-aligned, inclusive, and reflective of best practices. Whether it’s integrating arts into the core curriculum or creating standalone PE courses, I am dedicated to empowering educators with the tools and strategies they need to succeed.

       My vision for SapphireEd Consulting is rooted in my belief that specialist subjects (such as Music, VA, PE, Drama, Design & Technology) are essential to a well-rounded education. They not only cultivate creativity and self-expression but also teach collaboration, discipline, and resilience—skills that are vital in every aspect of life. Through my work, I aim to support schools in elevating their VAPA, PE and specialist programs, ensuring they are dynamic, impactful, and aligned with the highest educational standards.
